The short version: SocialStudiesSheets does not want your personal data and does not collect it. The detail follows.
What we collect
SocialStudiesSheets has no accounts, no sign-up, and no newsletter. We do not ask for your name, email address, or anything else that identifies you.
If you email us, we hold that email in order to reply to it. Nothing else is done with it.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through a Google Tag Manager container, to count page views and understand which worksheets are useful. IP addresses are anonymised by Google before we receive any data. We do not receive or store anything that identifies an individual visitor.
In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, analytics storage is denied by default, so no measurement cookie is set and those visits are counted without one. Elsewhere, analytics runs on page load; a notice at the foot of the page says so and links here. We do not ask you to opt in and we store no choice about it — there is no consent banner on this site because there is nothing on it that needs your consent.
AI-generated content
Content on this site is generated using artificial intelligence (Claude, made by Anthropic). The published library — every worksheet and every guide — is generated ahead of time and served as static pages, so browsing the site sends nothing about you to an AI service.

The custom generator
The custom generator is the one exception, and only while you are using it: the options you select — the grade, the subject and the topic — are sent to Anthropic’s API to write your worksheet. We attach nothing identifying to the request and keep no copy of it. The form offers no free-text field, so there is nothing you could type into it that would travel with the request.
Generated worksheets are returned to your browser. A worksheet generated there may also be queued in our own repository for review before it joins the public library; that copy contains the worksheet and nothing about you. PDFs are built entirely in your browser and are never uploaded anywhere.
Cookies
The site sets no advertising cookies, and we store no consent choice on your device. Google Analytics may set a cookie if your browser allows it and you are outside the regions named above; you can block or clear cookies through your browser settings at any time. The worksheet generator remembers, in your own browser only, when you last used it, so it can pace itself; that never leaves your device.
Children
SocialStudiesSheets is intended for adults — parents and teachers — not for children directly. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

We do not sell or share personal information. Because we hold no personal data about visitors, there is generally nothing to access, correct, or delete.

Hosting
This site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard server request logs under its own privacy policy.

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
